Linemen Card Project

First grade teachers, Mandy LaRose and Lauren Mercier, took time out of their busy first grade schedules to make cards for our linemen and linewomen! After the powerful storm on December 18 and when the children and adults returned to school on December 20, electricity being restored was on everyone’s mind. Ms. LaRose and Ms. Mercier capitalized on the enthusiasm of their students to engage in a relevant writing experience – thanking our linemen! I think our entire community joins these grateful first graders in expressing gratitude for these skillful, important, and hardworking men and women! #WeAreRSU18 #AtwoodAwesome
