Our Class Families
Many classrooms at Atwood Primary enjoyed reading Our Class is a Family by Shannon Olsen. Through the story, students learned that their classroom is a safe place where everyone can be themselves and where making mistakes is part of the learning process.
After reading the book together, Mrs. Lee’s first graders created special bracelets with beads representing kindness, respect, being ourselves, sticking together, and working hard. At Atwood, classrooms truly feel like families—places where students grow, learn, and support one another every day! #WeAreRSU18 #AtwoodAwesome
