A Day with Maine Author, Jennifer Jacobson
PreK-2 grade students at Atwood Primary had a magical day a few weeks ago when they met Maine author Jennifer Jacobson. The young learners were excited to discover that Jennifer became an author at just four years old by orally creating stories. They enjoyed learning about the inspiration behind her informational picture book, Oh Chickadee! Jennifer shared videos of chickadees, highlighted her favorite pages from the book, and explained her research process as a writer.
