It’s Cool to be Kind
Atwood Primary students participated in the global Great Kindness Challenge this year as part of their mission to create a culture of compassion and acceptance. Each student designed a mitten as part of their com“mit”ment to fostering kindness in their school community. Each class also participated in a community service project to spread kindness. Classes created cards, decorated rocks with kind messages, as well as made dog bones and cat toys for the Waterville Humane Society. As part of the school community reading event, they collected donations for the Humane Society too! Atwood students know it’s cool to be kind! #WeAreRSU18 #AtwoodAwesome
