How To Make Slime

Did somebody say slime? The Atwood kindergarteners in Mrs. Hatch’s class enjoyed a fun (and messy) kick-off to their how-to writing unit by making slime from scratch! They gathered the necessary ingredients and went through the steps in sequential order. Each student made their own slime creation to take home. Pictures were taken and then used to create a mentor text to teach from and refer back to while these emerging writers took on this new style of writing.
