Atwood Receives Reading Garden Beautification Grant
Atwood Primary School staff was notified that they were the recipients of the $5000 Poland Spring Reading Garden Beautification Grant! Poland Spring will create a beautifully landscaped reading garden for the children of Atwood….including a perennial bed, a butterfly garden, benches, and flowers that will create the backdrop for a beautiful place to fall in love with reading! All of the improvements should all take place by the end of October. The children will each paint a stone to place in the garden, and our art teacher, Ellen Gronlie, even has them painting blossoms on wooden cutouts to decorate our fence!
